Teaching English I believe is one of the easiest route into online work if you’re looking for way to earn money online so that you can live and work remotely from anywhere in the world.
Twenix is a rapidly growing platform for teaching English online, especially popular among those who want to work with business professionals and enjoy a flexible, streamlined teaching experience. The platform specialises in short, 26-minute conversation classes and offers a hassle-free process for tutors, with no lesson prep or marking required. Who and What You Can Teach
Twenix connects you with adult business professionals, primarily in Spain and Italy. The employers are usually paying for their English lessons on Twenix which is great because most of the students are consistent with using the platform so their is a lot of opportunity to be booked up.
Classes are 26 minutes long and focus on conversation, with topics ranging from general English to business-specific subjects. Twenix provides all lesson materials and microcourses, so there’s no need for lesson prep. You simply guide students through the provided topics and questions. Student’s are randomly assigned to you so you never know who you will have. The student’s do not pick you either. I actually like this because there was no favouritism. However, Twenix will reduce your ability to take classes if you are absent frequently or receive low reviews from students.
My Experience Working With Twenix
I taught English online with Twenix for just over a year and it was a largely positive experience until it wasn’t. Working Hours
There are no minimum hours required. You can teach as little or as much as you like. You can set your own availability and take advantage of last-minute bookings. Twenix’s class transfer system allows you to easily pass classes to another tutor if needed, offering maximum flexibility for busy schedules.
How Much Can I Earn on Twenix?
Pay rates vary by country and cost of living (for example, UK tutors typically earn 13–15€ per hour, while rates for non-native speakers are 7–11€ per hour). Payments are processed monthly via Wise or Payoneer, covering all classes taught in the previous month. Seasonal bonuses and milestone-based pay increases are available, rewarding consistent teaching and high class completion rates. With Twenix you are able to open up last minute availability and you can take lessons that have been transferred from other teachers. These two methods are great ways to boost your income.
It can take some time to build up a consistent income so don’t expect to be earning enough to make a full-tme income immediately. I believe it took me about 2-3 months before I was consistently fully booked. September to December was especially busy due to the new academic year and also many students had to complete their courses before the end of the year so they often took back to back lessons.
Twenix also has hiring freezes so that the platform is never saturated so you should end up with fairly consistent income. However, January and February were awful months to be on Twenix. Some days I only had 1 or 2 students so you’ll need to have alternative options for that period.

Expectations & Cancellations
Twenix expects prompt communication and low cancellation rates. If you need to cancel, you can transfer the class to another available tutor without penalty (as long as another teach takes your class). Students pay upfront, so your income is stable, and you’re paid for all scheduled classes even if the student cancels or is a no-show.
If you cancel or are absent from too many lessons you will be penalised and Twenix will stop assigning you classes. This will also happen if you drop below 4.6/4.7 review score from students often. I do think their expectations are ridiculously high, considering the amount that they pay.
